DASHTESTAN · BUSHEHR · SOUTHERN IRAN

Two Centuries Under the Palms.

From the palm groves of Dashtestan, BAGHERI brings two distinctly local expressions of the date palm into clearer view for international buyers: Haj Bagheri Kharak and Dashtestan Kabkab.

One is eaten fresh, golden and firm before the fruit softens into Rutab. The other is a date deeply identified with the growing landscape of our region.

OUR ORIGIN

Before the Date, There Is the Place.

Dashtestan is not a backdrop to BAGHERI. It is the beginning. Before trade specifications, packaging and destination ports, there is a landscape of palms, irrigation channels, orchard roads and towns shaped alongside date cultivation.

THE WIDER LANDSCAPE

The wider landscape behind BAGHERI.

A date-growing region in Bushehr province and the place from which our story begins. Palm groves, agricultural settlements and generations of date knowledge form the regional context behind the products we present.

OUR DATES

Two Dates. Two Different Experiences.

BAGHERI begins with two products connected to the place and date culture we know.

Haj Bagheri KharakFresh Yellow Dates

Before the Date Softens.

Before many international consumers recognise a date as a date, there is an earlier edible stage. In Dashtestan, we know the fresh yellow fruit as Kharak.

It is eaten while the fruit is still firm and golden — before it softens into Rutab. The name Haj Bagheri is locally associated with a sweet, crisp Kharak distinguished by its clean bite and fresh texture.

This is not the soft date most consumers expect. That difference is the product.

Dashtestan KabkabSemi-Soft Dates

A Date Identified With Its Place.

Kabkab does not begin with a global product catalogue. It begins with place. Dashtestan and Tangestan are closely connected with the geographical identity of Kabkab in southern Iran.

At maturity, Kabkab develops the deeper colour and substantial character associated with the variety. For a trade buyer, however, the word Kabkab is only the beginning of the conversation.

Crop. Grade. Size. Moisture. Packing. Storage. Destination. BAGHERI approaches the enquiry from there.

HERITAGE

I Did Not Discover Dates Through Trade.

I grew up with them.

I grew up in Borazjan, in Dashtestan. Here, the date season is not a product launch. It is a time of year people know before it arrives.

The palms are part of the roads, the water, the heat and the memory of the place. In my family, the connection with date cultivation reaches back roughly two centuries.

That history does not make BAGHERI a global exporter overnight. It gives us something more important to begin with: a responsibility to represent our region honestly.

BAGHERI was created to connect the dates of Dashtestan with international buyers through clearer product presentation, modern communication and serious trade conversations. We are beginning where we know the land. Under the palms.

THE LAND BEHIND THE DATES

Water. Roads. Palms.

The date palm is not isolated from its landscape. In Dashtestan, groves, irrigation channels, orchard roads and settlements exist side by side. These are not stock photographs selected to create a Middle Eastern mood. These are the landscapes behind BAGHERI.

OUR TRADE APPROACH

From Grove to Trade

BAGHERI is being built around one principle: a better trade conversation begins with clearer information.

01

Origin First

We begin with the dates and growing landscapes we actually know. Origin is not decoration added after the product.

02

Specification Matters

A variety name is not a complete trade specification. Crop, grade, size, condition, packing and destination all matter.

03

Buyer-Led Sourcing

We begin with the buyer’s requirement and move the sourcing conversation from there. Product first. Real availability second. Quotation after that.

04

Private Label Coordination

Packaging and label discussions should begin with the destination market, buyer profile and importer requirements — not with a box designed in isolation.

CLEAR REQUIREMENT → PRODUCT CONVERSATION → SOURCING → TRADE QUOTE

MARKET FOCUS

Where We Are Looking First.

Our first international market conversations are focused on destinations already active in the Iranian date trade and on buyer profiles relevant to Kharak and Kabkab.

TRADE ENQUIRY

Start With the Requirement.

A serious trade conversation begins with the right questions. Tell us what you are looking for — product, estimated quantity, packing preference and destination. We will use that information to begin a real sourcing and trade conversation.
